MOTHER FROM MOTHERS

As Indonesian we have to thanks to person like Robin Lim. She is American who help all of woman in Indonesia. Her devotion and loyalty make her a hero for all of Indonesian, especially pregnant mother. She left their great life just for help them. She is the best person. It is not wrong if in 2011 CNN News Network awarded her as a CNN Hero of The Year. As Indonesian we have to imitate her act to help woman in Indonesia without payment.

Robin Lim was born in 1956, in Ft. Huachuca, Arizona. Her full name is Robin Teresa Jehle. Her mother is blend of Filipino-Chinese ancestry. Her father Robert Arnold Jehle is blend of Irish-German-Native American descent. Her life was not long in one place. Her family was moved from one city to another city moreover country. It was because her father worked as a U.S Army.  Robin is the first child. She has one sister and three brothers.

At age fifteen, Robin run away from home, she work as maid in Hotel. She met the first husband while she still in high school. His name is Ed Bernhardt. After married, they moved to France and lived there. At age nineteen, Robin births her first children, Déjà Cresencia Jehle. Lim studied the TM Siddhi’s course during which she fell pregnant with her second child, Edward Noël Bernhardt. When Noel still toddler Ed was end his marriage. Robin became a single mother at age 24. After divorce she with her children moved to Hawaii. She supported her children by retailing Chrystal jewelry which she made when her children fall asleep. She started to make an article that tell about mother and was publish in mothering magazine.

She decided to married for the second time with her husband's friend. Her friend was died. She was very sad when hear about that. Robin is very closed with her husband and her children so William Joseph Hemmerle Jr ready to married with robin. After married they moved to Bali. In there their first child was born. His name is I. Wayan Hanoman Eka Bumi Saputra Hokulani Hemmerle.

In 2003 Robin knocked to make a foundation to help woman in Indonesia. This foundation name is Yayasan Bumi Sehat. After bomb in Bali she with her friend made this foundation to help them without paying. This institution was not only for pregnant woman but also for people who didn’t have money to get medicine. She made this foundation with her money and she got helping from her friend in Bali and also support for her lovely husband. She realized her seriousness to help people in Indonesia by build the same foundation in Aceh when that city got tsunami in 2004. In 2006 she built it again in Yogyakarta and followed it in Padang in 2008. Because of her care to each people in Indonesia in 2011 CNN News Network give her awarded as a CNN Hero of the Year.

As a result, her buffetings to help woman in Indonesia should be reference to us as an Indonesian to make changing, helping our society in our country. We should be shy why western people more care with our society than Indonesian itself. It is very ironic fact. It is not late to us to make changing for our country. As a human being we have to help each other in difficulties. Like mother Robin do for our country.
