My heart was dark

Because you left me and never come back

I feel insane

Because I don’t know why I’m still here for you

My heart goes blue

I throw the glass make it festive

I hate this solitude

I want to end it

But the wind doesn’t want to make me cheerful

I try to kill this solitude

But quickly you regain it

I am weary

And now I am afraid

DOWN SYNDROME

Special need children, maybe this terminology is not weird in your mind. Yes nowadays many children appertain as special need children. Special need children are children who have obstacle in learning or expansion. One of the illnesses is called Down syndrome or syndrome down. This suffers part of brain and some of tissue. Many factor that make it happened as age of mother or the air around the mother live. They need right handling to help them to blend with society.

Down syndrome is disorder that impact to backwardness, growth of body, and mental. This happened because deviation of genetic that occur in chromosome 21^nd. This chromosome should be cleaving into three but in DS children it just two. Characteristic physics of DS are small chin, skin brighter than other, the face like Mongolia, tongue is longer than others and the sky of mouth is deep, construction of their appearance is not balance like the head too big or the opposite.

DS children are usually having difficulties in study, coordination of movement always uncontrolled. Many ways can we get to help children like this. Now many school launch to help DS children. SLB ( sekolah luar biasa ) or the most popular now is inclusive school can help them. In there they can get study and also therapy that make them more understand to do whatever they want to do by themselves.  Therapy which is given is occupational therapy. This is to help DS children in sensomotoric aspect, it built the ability to life day by day. Sensory Integrasi, speaking therapy and academic therapy will be conducted to DS children.

As parents you can decrease to get children with DS. Don’t pregnant when your age up in 40, check your womb if your first child DS. Avoid the area with much pollution and chemical. Inspection n the beginning will decrease it.

Finally don’t disappoint if you have children with DS. Many ways we can get to solve this problem.

One of mother who have children with Down Syndrom said that we have to be proud if we are chosen by God to have children with DS, because God want us more patient and do you know that children with DS more love their parents than normal children. They can always make us laugh. They make one tear to be a thousand laughs.

We as society may not judge somebody who has children with DS, we have to help them or support what they do. Don’t think that they are crazy, but feels if you are being them. God is fair. He gives excess behind their shortage.

HERO

MOTHER FROM MOTHERS

As Indonesian we have to thanks to person like Robin Lim. She is American who help all of woman in Indonesia. Her devotion and loyalty make her a hero for all of Indonesian, especially pregnant mother. She left their great life just for help them. She is the best person. It is not wrong if in 2011 CNN News Network awarded her as a CNN Hero of The Year. As Indonesian we have to imitate her act to help woman in Indonesia without payment.

Robin Lim was born in 1956, in Ft. Huachuca, Arizona. Her full name is Robin Teresa Jehle. Her mother is blend of Filipino-Chinese ancestry. Her father Robert Arnold Jehle is blend of Irish-German-Native American descent. Her life was not long in one place. Her family was moved from one city to another city moreover country. It was because her father worked as a U.S Army.  Robin is the first child. She has one sister and three brothers.

At age fifteen, Robin run away from home, she work as maid in Hotel. She met the first husband while she still in high school. His name is Ed Bernhardt. After married, they moved to France and lived there. At age nineteen, Robin births her first children, Déjà Cresencia Jehle. Lim studied the TM Siddhi’s course during which she fell pregnant with her second child, Edward Noël Bernhardt. When Noel still toddler Ed was end his marriage. Robin became a single mother at age 24. After divorce she with her children moved to Hawaii. She supported her children by retailing Chrystal jewelry which she made when her children fall asleep. She started to make an article that tell about mother and was publish in mothering magazine.

She decided to married for the second time with her husband's friend. Her friend was died. She was very sad when hear about that. Robin is very closed with her husband and her children so William Joseph Hemmerle Jr ready to married with robin. After married they moved to Bali. In there their first child was born. His name is I. Wayan Hanoman Eka Bumi Saputra Hokulani Hemmerle.

In 2003 Robin knocked to make a foundation to help woman in Indonesia. This foundation name is Yayasan Bumi Sehat. After bomb in Bali she with her friend made this foundation to help them without paying. This institution was not only for pregnant woman but also for people who didn’t have money to get medicine. She made this foundation with her money and she got helping from her friend in Bali and also support for her lovely husband. She realized her seriousness to help people in Indonesia by build the same foundation in Aceh when that city got tsunami in 2004. In 2006 she built it again in Yogyakarta and followed it in Padang in 2008. Because of her care to each people in Indonesia in 2011 CNN News Network give her awarded as a CNN Hero of the Year.

As a result, her buffetings to help woman in Indonesia should be reference to us as an Indonesian to make changing, helping our society in our country. We should be shy why western people more care with our society than Indonesian itself. It is very ironic fact. It is not late to us to make changing for our country. As a human being we have to help each other in difficulties. Like mother Robin do for our country.

DRUGS

Teenagers and Drugs

Many kinds of drugs are spreading in every city in Indonesia. Not only in city but also in village all people can get it easier. Adults, teenagers’ even children have known about drugs. Nowadays we are shocked by teenagers that use drugs. One of the factors that it was happening is parent’s passiveness. Many parents have a little responsibility to their children. Beside of that social intercourse around their school and home is part of this issue. Teachers and parents is supposed to be a part to solve and get alternative to avoid teenagers from drugs.

Drugs are dangers substances. It contains narcotic, psychotropic and addictive substance. It will make a risk for user as an addicted or the fatal is dead. Actually in medicine, doctors use it for anaesthetize patient went they go to surgery or for drugs in special illness but now it changed by some people to satisfy their self by take a lot off this drugs. Drugs is made from a kind of  it to plants that kind cause in decreasing or changing of awareness, losing of painful and can make addicted. Anesthetic medicine, heroin, marijuana, morphine, and cocaine is several kind of drugs. All the drugs is illegal in every country but not less country give permission to plants this drugs. Especially in Indonesia, it is illegal to plant drugs but some people who are not responsible plant it to make a benefit without thinking a safety other people.

Telecommunications and transportations that very sophisticated cause drugs can spread easier and faster in the city weekend find it in every place that easily for someone to reach it. the bad influence that people in the city have can make the villagers brave to buy and try this drugs event thought they live in village. They can order eat by phone or internet.

Not only adults but also teenagers really like to consume this. Yes… in Indonesia many people under age was consuming it in bigger amount, they do all the way to get it such as steal money, lying to parents, or selling all off the things that they have until killing someone to get their money. it is really apprehensive. Our generation has poisoned by drugs. Drugs is not always about medicine, it can be as aibon glue or gasoline that they inhale until they feel satisfy and they feel opium, calm and relax after inhale that things.

Parents and teacher have to help together to solve this problem. As teachers, they have to give information about the danger of drugs, they have to close to the teenagers that have been infected. As parents, we have to increase knowledge in religion for our children. Make home is the last place that she has to be rest. Be friend for your children. Don’t bored to give them attention and remembering him about the dangerous of drugs. As parents that have children with drugs don’t throw them away. We have to support him to change be a good person and we have to believe him that we can be friends for them. It is the good way that we can give.

Finally, drugs is made from illegal ingredients that can cause addicted. Not only parents but also teacher can avoid them from drugs. The government is the most important person who wants make disposal of drugs stop or decrease a little by little. A good of society in house or school also give a good effect for children. So from now don’t try drugs even a little. Avoid drugs and help person that really addicted to stop and be a good person than now. RP

Don't Give Up

DON’T GIVE UP

Actually I don’t know what I want to write right now. My lecturer said to me that I have to write about the video that he played when he taught. The video tell about a runner in a competition. He starts running to win but in a quarter ways his leg was sprained and he couldn’t run again. That was showing me about a runner who never give up finishing his competition. His father came to help him. His father said to him to stop but he still wanted to continue until finish, finally with prudently his father said he wanted to finish it with his son so the runner with her father continue the competition together and he got standing occasion from spectators. It’s very touching short movie. We can learn from this movie that doesn’t ever give up before you try and try again. Many people around you can help you to solve your entire problem.

“Don’t give up” it is appropriate words when we are falling down. Many people who feel give up will depressed and doing something crazy. But not less from that people will motivate with this condition. It fakes when someone says that they are never give up because all human in the world definitely ever feel this. Family, friends, spouse and many others will be beside us when we give up solving our problems that make us can clearly think and clean away our problem.

Depressed, disappointed, angry and other feeling can deliver our give up feeling. Someone that ever gives up should not do something crazy like trying to hurt until end their life. I think it is the stupid think that they ever do but it really happened when someone give up and no one help them and even they give all the mistake to them. Family and all people around them will help them get out from this feeling. You failed to do something is not the end of everything so don’t ever to give up. Actually you may give up but you have to know how to make you brave to face your problem. You have to believe that God will not give the big problem that we cannot solve. God will give us the way how to solve it from many ways from inside or from outside like our family and our friends.

SMOKING CIGARETTE

Indonesia is the third country who has the most smokers.  It is very ironic hear that. Cigarette has damaged our rising generation. Almost half of our students have been ever smoking. The government in Indonesia cannot move slightly to solve this problem because the biggest tax that country gets is from cigarette. Much of disease can float from this, even in the pack of cigarette has written about the diseases that can occur because smoking but the people will ignore it. Whereas people in the biggest country like America have forbidden smoking with increase the price of cigarette more expensive. And the saddest is we are not part of them. We are imperialized with another country indirectly even we have independent in the last.

Cigarette is a small roll of finely cut tobacco leaves wrapped in a cylinder of thin paper for smoking. Cigarette have been arrested in Central America around 9^th century in the form of reeds smoking tubes. The first mankind who smoking is Ancient people there are the Maya and later Aztecs smoked tobacco in religious rituals. After that in 16^th century a half of land cruiser from Europe tried smoking tobacco. And then bring it to Europe. From that journey, cigarette is known not only for ritual but also for requirement every day.

Many brands of cigarette spread in Indonesia. Like Marlboro, Djarum super, dji sam soe, mild, etc. Many board of advertisement put up as long as the way. Whereas in their origin country advertisement about cigarette not permitted. Come to Indonesia like come back to America when cigarette be the best part in this country and now it happened in Indonesia. All big countries compete to build cigarette factory in here. Whatever the way they do for do that. They are very smart make strategy in order they can founding it. Only with giving primary commodity, they can easier to do everything here.

Variety of slogans about danger of smoking always put up in every pack of cigarette. Slogan like smoking can cause cancer, heart attack, impotence, problem in pregnancy and fetus. Even like that people will ignore it, they only want to get satisfaction from smoking. Doctors are always remembering to society about the danger of smoking. The substances of chemistry that consist in cigarette are nicotine; it make smoker feel relax, tar, cyanide, benzene, cadmium, methanol, acetylene, ammonia, formaldehyde; very poisonous is use for pickle corpse, hydrogen; is using to make plastic and pesticide, arsenic; contained in poisonous to kill mouse, and carbon monoxide; is found in  smoke of cars. That all can cause smoker suffered many kind of illness. Death is the bad thing that will happen to smoker. The first thing they will get cough until the horrify thing is their part of body will putrid and rid of one by one from their body. Who approximating that in 2020, illness because tobacco will be trouble for all the world and minimum 8,4 million people will die because of that. Half of that will happen in Asia

Advertisement of cigarette in Indonesia cut down market of children and teenagers especially student from kind of advertisement using teenagers which carry theme about life style, education, etc. The example of slogan is go straight. Maybe it means go straight to smoke. Or like this “make life more life" They show if young generation not smoking, they are not cool. This condition is very sadness. Children must free from influence of smoke that contain nicotine, and other dangerous substance for healthy. Because of that 4 years old child addicted smoking. 1,2 million children in Indonesia be active smoker. It is very tragic. Government has failed to solve this problem. Factory of cigarette give sponsor in every school to get interesting young people. Teenagers are soft target to spread cigarette product. Not amazed if we can see our young generation smoking beside her school. In Indonesia Is very easy to young man to buy cigarette even they are still two or three years old.

We have to face to New Zealand; their government suspended the cigarette in order to decrease smoker there. Sellers who sell cigarette have to hide cigarette under their table. Their government decreases the tax of cigarette until 40%. And they raise price of it until Rp. 200.000. In near time they will decrease the price of it until Rp. 700.000. They are very brave to do this even many side don’t deal with this decision.

The government in Indonesia must look the government of New Zealand. Our government has to brave to take decision to erase cigarette. Maybe the government afraid much of employee doesn’t have work, but they must slowly build another factory to change it. Don’t just think about benefit of it. We have to protect our next generation. We have to help society here be a good and better people next. Doctors, parents, teacher and government have to help mutually to make it happen. Smoking is same with delivering us to death so stop smoking.

LOVE

THIS IS CALLED LOVE

All of people know about love, but it is too difficult to describe what the love means. Different people will give different statement about love. Loves can be received by us from God and everyone. Children say if their parents kiss them that is love. Love is not always speaking about parents to their children or husband to his wife, it also tells about friendships, love for poverty and nature in the world.

In my opinion love likes oxygen. We need it to breathe, if there is no oxygen, we will die. Love also like tears and hands. If hand injure, the tears will fall down. The hands will erase the tears when it falls. Love always takes and gives. Actually love is has been here before the mankind creates. It had happened in the heaven. The God creates a woman to be with Prophet Adam in heaven. God brings love in to our world and create kind of creature.

As I say above the biggest love we can get from the God. God has created us become perfect mankind. Don’t tell about the color of our skin or the size of our body, God gives us what is appropriate with us. Much of the people don’t have the perfect body but that is not a reason that God don’t love them but the God have a special planning for them.

Not only God but also parents, we can get much love from them. We have been feeling their love since we are not born. They always give the best love for us when we back down. It is different with the love we give them, when they are getting old some of us ignore them work. I hope we are not the one who ignores our parents when they are getting old.

Friends are the third person who gives the love to us. But in this cases much of love to us. Much of this case will be our boyfriend or girlfriend when they give much love to us. Much of this case will be a couple of husband and wife, but not less be a rival when we sit on the friendship in more than two people.

Love can make the wrong statements. I have told you a little in above. For the example, we want love as a friend but our friend thinks different. She or he thinks that our love more than love as a friend. Many cases happened in educational world, the teacher love the student, but the student think that the teacher love he or she as a boyfriend to his girlfriend that make some cases like the student pregnant because of his teacher.

We can give our love not only with mankind but also with nature in the world. Nowadays many people don’t have love for their world. It proven from illegal logging, hunt animals illegally, moving field, etc. they destroy trees in forest to build a building. They are fire the jungle and kill the animals. It is sign that they are not having love again in their heart. Poverty and the children that are not school can we erase if we have love to them. The love can knock our and their heart to become a better world without poverty and stupid children.

From explanation above we can conclude that love can we get from another way not always from mankind but also from god, nature and world. It also can destroy what we build or we have. But the love is the most important thing that we must have because from that we can find a better and a good future.

virginity

VIRGINITY IN EVERY SIDE

Maybe it is a little taboo to talk about virginity, but this is an interesting topic to be talked. Virginity is something important for woman who not married yet. Different person will give different opinion and definition about virginity. Several say they have to keep their virginity until they are married, but not less people say if you are still virgin you don’t associate. On this essay I would like to try explaining about how important the virginity, why we should keep it until we are married, how to keep it, the fact in some country about virginity, and a little about their reason still keep virginity or not.

Virginity means situation about person who has never engaged in sexual intercourse. Especially in this case unmarried female who keep the personal purity, honor, and work. It is the concept of the traditional involved sexual abstinence before marriage, and in this case the woman will do sexual acts only with marriage partner. The word virgin comes from old French ‘virgine’ from the root form of Latin Virgo. Virgin is also called with maiden. Actually virgin is not always talking about man who never doing sex.

Virginity for several people is something important thing to be kept. The reason they still keep it is for traditional value that their country have. Like in Indonesia, because of this is the country who the majority is Muslim, if someone doing something that make her lose her virginity, the people around her can judge her with bad stereotype. The most extreme is in Arabic, if someone doing sex before married they will get punishment follow the Islamic rules. Adulterers are thrown by a little rock until they die. This punishment is called by rajam. One of city in Indonesia that follows these rules is in Aceh. 

My friend ever asks to me why we should keep virginity for our husband. Simplicity I answer ‘in order your husband proud to have you. Beside it include to religion norm. It is really important when we want to married. Imagine that the woman who will married but she is not virgin, she doesn’t ask it to her husband. You know what as long as her life she will be in vain with her husband. Another of that she will feel guilty in her life because she never keeps her virginity until she married.

FEEL THE PAIN FOR BEAUTY

Who does not want to be beauty? All women in the world want their body being perfect. They do everything to repair their face and body that no appropriate with them. Beauty is pain may be this terminology is right because nowadays many women ready feeling the pain for their beauty. Not only feel the pain but also spend a lot of money, they ready to give all of that to make their body perfect. One of the purposes they do this is making the man interest with them. Actually the tribes and countries have done this from the last time. They do something odd to make their body look beauty, but if modern human see that, they will not say that is beauty but they will say that is very odd, dangerous or afraid. In modern time many machine that can make your body look perfect like Botox and silicon. But it still make yours pain.

 Every woman has different reason when someone asks them why she wants to be beauty. Their reason will be different based on their self. For the woman who works to be an artist or public figure they have to do some operation to make their-self perfect. With pretty face and sexy body they can increase their rating. For the other woman they effort do this for interest the man. They also want to make their husband happy and for keeping their husband, so their husband not interest to another woman or married her. Another woman doing this to satisfied their self.

 

In modern time many woman compete to have perfect body and face. Everything they do even it will hurt their-self. Because of the improvement of the technology, the woman can easier to get pretty face and perfect body. For the example silicon, Botox, plastic surgery, face lift, tummy tuck, and liposuction. But many negative beside of that. First silicon, several men said if the woman looks beauty if they have big breast. Some woman is doing breast implant for make their breast bigger than last. They use silicon for implanting. They are very brave to take the risk in using the silicon. Silicon usually use for industry like in car industry. Silicon has two kinds, there are liquid and solid. Liquid silicon is usually use for nose, cheek and chin. And the popular is solid silicon, it use in breast. One of cases in Indonesia is Malinda D which is the breast must lift because of complication. The second is Botox, botulin toxin or Botox is a toxin that produced by clostridium botullinum bacteria. So scare to hear that. In medical they use clostridium botullinum type A. Side effect using the Botox is losing the muscle tissue. The other complication in short term are feeling depressed and muscle weakness. Next,   Face Lift is a procedure where a person's face skin is tightened to give a younger looking appearance. Because of aging and gravity the skin on a person's face can tend to sag and feel droopy. And then Tummy tuck is one of surgery beauty to repair sagging stomach. They do the operation for taking off the sagging stomach. Liposuction is surgery for taking off the fat. It is happening in Indonesia. In 1921, Charles Dujarrier from French did the first liposuction to a ballerina. He takes off fat from her legs and knees, but the surgery not clear her leg must amputee. The last is plastic surgery. This is popular surgery than other. Plastic surgery is a medical specialty concerned with the correction or restoration of form and function. Though cosmetic or aesthetic surgery is the best-known kind of plastic surgery, most plastic surgery is not cosmetic: plastic surgery includes many types of reconstructive surgery, microsurgery, and the treatment of burns.

Not only pain but also money, they have to spend much money for repairing their body. Whereas, any another easy way to make our- self beauty. If we keep good life and often doing exercise we can easier to get beauty. Healthy lifestyle can be done by eating less fatty food. Do not eat meat with fat, butter, coconut milk, and etc. avoiding food with preservatives like snack and noodles. Not eating food that use artificial coloring. You should eat food in steam, boiled or stir-fry with a little oil, this is better for you. Drink much mineral water, minimal 8 glasses a day. Avoid alcoholic, fizzy beverages and all beverages with high levels of sugar and caffeine. Consume vegetables and fruits juice because it is good for keeping and maintaining a healthy body. Not only lifestyle but we have to balance it with exercise. That way we will look beautiful without painful and costly.

In conclusion, from ancient times until now women cannot be separated from the beauty. Even they have to feel the pain or hurt their-self and spend lot of money. Whereas, without hurting their-self and with a cheap cost they can get good appearance. Thinking if you want to do something that can make yourself pain or the fatal is died. Get information before you do the stupid action. As God creatures we should be grateful with all of God gives to us, because God has created us with the best. If we can accept our shortage as our excess, we can feel that we are beautiful. Always instilled faith in us and the inner of beauty will shine by itself.
